Geography Asssemblies and Workshops
Street Child Africa's partners' work with street children in cities across Sub-Saharan Africa provides us with original and innovative source material for resources that support the delivery of GCSE, AS and A1 Geography in formats that are innovative, challenging and rewarding for students.
We lead classes and workshops utilizing these resources to provide students with a real sense of the impact of changes to the natural and human environment, on real people who live with the reality of these forces of change in Africa. Relevant topics include sustainable development, development and disparity, population and the economy, urbanization, the deterioration and desertification of the worlds' grasslands, and Trade and Aid.
