Peace One Day

Street Child Africa has once again been invited to join the Peace One Day event.

This year features our Ugandan partner which is hosting a ‘one day one goal’ match with approximately 50 orphans and vulnerable children –  displaced Karamojong children, street youth, child headed households, and HIV affected children – in Jinja, Uganda. You might remember that these children were involved in the campaign last year under the ‘life saving activities’ category. They are thrilled to be involved and plan to engage all of the children in conversations about what ‘peace’ means to them and the urgent actions that local government can take to make their difficult lives, more peaceful. 

If you're playing football this month, why not think about raising money by asking for:

• £2 per free kick or corner
• £3 per goal
• £5 per foul!
