Trustees

Hilary Riddle: Chairman
	A former Dietician and Nutrition Lecturer, Hilary joined Street Child Africa's Board of Trustees in 1999 and has been Chairman since 2000. Hilary networks at all levels on behalf of the charity, makes regular parish appeals for funds, and raises awareness with any potential supporter within earshot! Hilary is determined to ensure sustained growth of the charity year on year to enable us to help more street children in Africa.
Barry Hitchens: Treasurer
	Retired from a career culminating with AOL Time Warner, Barry Hitchens has been Street Child Africa's Treasurer since 2004. His role is to monitor the charity's financial position to ensure that funds are managed appropriately and prudently, with the interests of Africa's street children always our first priority. He also prepares our annual accounts for audit.
Dominic White: Trustee
	Dominic is a forester and zoologist working with the environmental organisation, WWF-UK where his work and interests are in sustainable development, particularly how the environment is so critical for reducing poverty. Dominic is the current Chair of Bond, the UK membership organisation for international development charities.
Bob Heitsenrether: Trustee
	American-born, Bob is a financial services executive, having held various senior management positions in corporate banking and later worked with high net worth clients in the wealth management industry. He has been active in networking and volunteer work for many years, having been a church trustee and investment committee chair, a school finance committee chair, a board member of his university’s local alumni association and president of a professional networking group in his home state of New Jersey.
Tina Fernandez: Trustee
	Malaysian born Tina is a barrister and solicitor and has worked in private practice and as in-house counsel both in Malaysia and the U.K, specialising in IT and telecommunications. Before joining systems integrator Sabio, Tina was in-house counsel at British Telecommunications plc.
Roger Chovil: Trustee
	A retired senior partner with PricewaterhouseCooper, Roger regularly undertakes fundraising appeals for the charity, and is also Chairman of the Remunerations Committee. He has extensive experience of the charity sector.
Chris Bourne: Trustee
	Chris joined our Board of Trustees in 2007, but has supported Street Child Africa since the beginning. His business experience in global container shipping including trades to Africa is complemented by his extensive experience of governance including the not-for-profit sector. He is the Chairman of our Health and Safety Committee and regularly makes appeals.
Bart Michels: Trustee
	Dutch-born Bart joined our Board in August 2008. He is the Managing Director of WPP marketing consultancy Added Value. He has also been involved in several voluntary service projects over the years and, like many of our staff and Trustees, is local to our head office in Thames Ditton, Surrey.

Colin Campbell : Trustee
	Colin is a qualified Solicitor who after a career in television now divides his working hours between being a media consultant and a garden designer.When not working Colin enjoys all sports ( playing hockey, golf, and tennis) cycling, the arts, cooking, reading and travelling.
