What is a Support Group?

Simply, it's a group of people who support Street Child Africa. Most groups begin because a few people with the determination to make something happen get together and decide to do something. They start small and grow; in the words of one of our support group members, "whatever you get, is more than you started with"!

Our support groups across the UK do amazing things, and their resourcefulness and imagination in fund-raising for street children is an inspiration. From coffee mornings to concerts, they provide a sustainable source of funds, they help to raise awareness, they provide communities with a common goal - and they can be great fun!
