A big thank you goes to Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s Group in Thames Ditton who danced their way to almost £600 for Street Child Africa at their annual Parish Ceilidh. Celine said, ‘A great night was had by all, and we wish the Charity every success over the next 12 months. We are extremely proud of our association with SCA and look forward to organising another event for you soon.’

Happy Holidays - ADSN Uganda
ADSN, our partner in Uganda, ran a holiday programme for children who are part of the CHH (child headed households) project, teaching life skills and candle making. One of the boys attending the programme said: “We like what we are doing currently in the holidays - learning life skills and business management. With knowledge acquired we are able to train others or keep our selves busy.”

Happy New Year
Our very best wishes to our supporters, partners and friends for a prosperous 2012. If you'd like to start New Year with a new resolution to improve the lives of others, please consider making a new commitment to us and to street children.

In Uganda, several of our child headed households have family members battling this illness. This is a new video describing our work there. Please text FUND16 £10 to 70070 today to contribute to this project!
